Designing and implementing a new IT infrastructure to enable remote working for the employees of the Municipality of Pecetto Torinese. This was the objective of the IT project in COVID-19 emergency – Phase 1. Speed in the implementation and business continuity were the main objectives of the whole project. The implementation of the Remote Working system was made possible by proceeding with a modular and scalable methodology, based on the experience gained over the years of managing IT infrastructures for our customers.<\/p>\n

A first preliminary phase, centered on the supply of individual hardware equipment to the municipal employees involved, was followed by a second structural phase that involved the integration into the existing IT system with a VPN infrastructure (virtual private network). Also to follow the criteria dictated by the GDPR regulations, the system was integrated with all the security and data encryption criteria required today for the processing of confidential documents and sensitive data. Thanks to the speed of execution in a very short time municipal employees were able to carry out their activities remotely using the applications of the municipality in full security.<\/p>\n
